Auron and Demitrius

Hi! ooo, fun questions! This helped a bit of information click into place for several of my characters, but I'll put those on my journal later. (I didn't write an intro post about my characters in the group yet. Here's a link to my character list page, I'll add some stuff there soon as I can about those I mention.

note: the following characters exist on a planet called Aya. Multi-intelligent species. Some folk's don't have equal access to education. Auron and Demi grew up in an isolated village off grid with very little infrastructure. When they venture out, there is a language barrier for education. They are faced with having to learn new languages because some texts don't have translations.

Auron Age: Child. species: Ice Dragonoid (humanish with dragon traits) Formal Education: Nooooo. He had a few people that taught him everything he knows though. good student: Absolute goblin. His teachers are in hell. associations with learning: It’s booooring. He’d rather be out doing stuff. Why do these people think they know everything? There’s only two people he respects to teach him anything and those people aren’t here. And the only one that can teach him has a stick up his butt. Sitting still??? Reading? oh no. nonono. One language, okay, maybe, two languages? oh gods. You’d have to translate it for him but he’d probably stop listening after a few sentences. Auron is a do first, answers second, questions third kind of learner. Auron has interests in dragons, elemental magic, hunting, survival skills, and sword based combat.

Demi: Age: Adult species: orc (informal education / tutors) good student? - He’s such a diligent student he needs to be told to eat and drink, his teachers often take him away from his studies and make sure he walks around or travels with them for a while, get him to engage with the world and stop dissociating into his head. Association with learning: Demi loves to learn, but he is a slower deep learner. He's someone that will stay up for nights on end solving a problem until he figures it out. He has journals upon journals of his notes, on history, on magical theory, and mathematical equations. He keeps separate journals for teachers to cross reference and check for fact. He has notes on places to find and obtain more information, people to talk to, libraries to visit. He has a poor memory sometimes on his daily happenings, but he has an obsidian memory for the spells and history he's learned. He seeks out tutors, studies with them a few years, and moves on. He'll never stop learning, or being curious. He may be humble, but he is confident in what he knows to be true and will defend it and his teachers reputations. Demi is a sorcerer, and spell writer.
