Hello everyone! I'm Mary and I go by they/them pronouns. I write fanfiction, original fiction, and meta from my favorite series. I'm also a web master currently maintaining my own website with a couple of improvements in the works.

My main OCs are Ryuugamine Kiyoshi and Kirishima Keima. Kiyoshi (or Kiyo) and Kei for short. While I enjoy to reuse them for different fandoms and stories (kind of a Touya and Yukito situation from CLAMP), I'll write about their versions in what started as a college AU, called For The Freedom to Love (FTL). Basically their new adult versions in the modern world.

Ryuugamine Kiyoshi

This cutie pattootie is Kiyoshi. He's is a kind and gentle soul who stands at a staggering 185cm/6ft tall. He's half Western and half Asian from an (U.S.) American father and Japanese mother. He's introverted, anxious, and patient. As I mentioned in a previous prompt, he was the first OC where I put down a lot of work and learned the art of character creation and design. I struggle writing female characters so Kiyoshi has been my attempt to write the closest thing to one. He likes cute, soft, and pretty things and strives to present as such. I also use him a lot to explore societal issues because of his sensibility and strong moral compass from queerness, immigration status, and ableism.

Kirishima Keima

This guy that looks like he should be in a shounen manga instead is Kei. He started as a walking toxic masculinity stereotype that I have enjoyed making suffer through the years (mine and his) by making him face his worst fears and biggest faults. Some words I use to describe him are extroverted, brash, and tactless. He's the foil to Kiyoshi and they were made for each other. His saving grace is that he has always been a pretty chill guy and is leans towards counterculture, making him befriend people from marginal communities such as LBGT+ and immigrants. He also considers himself as part of the former group because of his lack of romantic and sexual attraction to people of all genders.

His birthday is coming up (December 21st) and I hope to make something for him!

Keima and Kiyoshi became best friends in elementary school and a few years later became boyfriends! They have known each other more than ten years. Their ship name is KeiKiyo, hehe. Kiyoshi calls Keima his "boyfriend" and Keima calls Kiyoshi his "partner". Keima describes his partner as "too good for this world" to Kiyoshi's chagrin and can get really protective, particularly because Kiyoshi gets offended easily and can be a bit of a doormat.

This year, I've been working on one of my oldest OCs, Sumire Yuu. I'm writing about her here because I really want to overcome whatever mental barrier I have on female characters and what best way to do that than in community!

This version of Yuu is an OC for the original Inazuma Eleven series. It's a sports multimedia series with lots of wacky stuff like hyperdimensional soccer but her character isn't a player so I won't put any of that here. She's part of "The Early Years" named after most of the main characters being teenagers. I'm working on a sequel called Of Flowers and Mirrors where I hope to make her the main character!

Anyways, this is her! As a teen, her life is going through lots of ups and downs. From grieving the parting of her mother to an unwelcoming household to making peace with her disabilities.

While her personality is still in development, her most prominent characteristic is her strong will. She's driven and solution-oriented. If I had to use Myers-Briggs type to describe her, she would have Extroversion and Intuition type somewhere.

Yuu was raised by her mother in a wealthy and politically influential household. She's a polyglot who speaks Peruvian Spanish, English, French, Chinese, and maybe more. She leans towards liberal Arts studies such as History, Theather, Music, Rhetoric, and Drawing.

She also into girls and idol groups. Not sure of her type but she has a classmate and there's mutual attraction there! I think Princess x Nerd would be a fun ship dynamic for them.

She's currently attending a correspondence/online school as she continues to recover from her injuries.

Her world is set in the early 2000s so I'm having a lot of fun incorporating time-appropiate tech like flip phones and wired headphones (despite the series being sci-fi).

I don't have anything written about them in my personal journal but I'm certainly working on making more information on them public!
