Discussion Prompt #4
Dec. 12th, 2025 10:36 amHas your OC broken taboos? Do they regret it?
Were they caught? Punished in some manner, or perhaps forgiven? If they haven't broken any taboos, how would they feel if they found out someone close to them did?
comment below your thoughts! <3

they were both caught at the same time by Velaris' father, Gorluin. Velaris was disowned and forced to immediately leave without saying goodbye, Einjar was sent to trial and imprisoned in the highest dungeon.
Einjar does not regret his choices, and has held onto hope that Velaris will return for him. Velaris on the other hand, while he doesnt regret pursuing necromancy, does deeply regret he couldnt flee with Einjar by his side. </3

Additionally, Seren is an animal abuser, something even Bryn, their serial abuser, is disgusted by. (Vesper and Roan couldn't care less. Well, Roan is performatively disgusted by Seren, but he has no principles. If Vesper one day decided to skin a puppy, Roan would give her all the tools, tell her where to cut for the sweetest whines, and dispose of the body afterward.)

Probably a bit too real but still valid in the universe. Keima and Kiyoshi broke the taboo of being in a stable romantic relationship with someone of the same sex, each other. Keima saw it for what it was but not Kiyoshi, so ig Keima had regrets while Kiyoshi didn't.
When their mothers found out— first Kiyoshi's mom—it was a rough moment. Sayuri didn't take seriously her son's feelings for reasons aside from internalized homophobia. Kiyoshi didn't enjoy having this conversation because he's averse to conflict and had to admit that he was also into girls and that he definitely would get married and have kids one day.
Sayuri is close friends with Keima's mom so she snitched. The conversation between Keima and his mom was fairly similar. Keiko is also against the relationship and because they don't connect at all, Keima was less willing to open up about his general disinterest in romance so their mother-son relationship soured further. Keima takes the internalized homophobia after her mother from this point on. She was more vocal about her opinion than Sayuri. Both women do come to terms with it eventually in their own ways.
Adult Keima sense of adventurous so he thinks some taboos are made to be broken and enjoys the idea of pissing people off.
